With all the emphasis on music in our school already, we’re delighted to announce even more enrichment! Mrs. Rieder, herself a musician, has begun a string ensemble which rehearses Mondays at lunch hour. There are six violinists currently in the group, and “we are learning to play as an ensemble,” reports Mrs. Rieder. “So far we have played duets, trios, and canons. |
|
Soon we will be playing holiday music and quartets.” Would your child like to join? Violinists, violists, and cellists with at least one year's experience with their instrument, who are KW Bilingual students in Grades 3 to 8 are eligible. There is no cost to join because it is an extracurricular activity of the school. Contact Mrs. Rieder in January. |

on the bulletin board near the school office. Parents of students who took the test last year are invited to meet with teachers to discuss their child's individual results in more detail.
We do not "teach to the test," but we believe in our challenging and enriched curriculum, and in our hard-working teachers, assistants and |

students. We are extremely proud of the children's results, as we always have been in the past. |
