Every year, Mrs. Ambrose looks forward to September and the upbeat, exciting mood of a school filled with curious children, freshly decorated classrooms and energetic teachers.
When prospective parents come to tour the school in the summer, she worries that -- despite the impressive new building -- they've "missed the flavour of the school."
"It's just a building when the children aren't here," she said. "It's the children that make it. It's a real family feeling."
